The partypoker Caribbean Poker Party. Five words that make you think of sun, sea, sand and spectacular poker action. In 2018, that’ll be no different. Why? Well, because partypoker LIVE have announced that the host venue for the CPP will be…drum roll please… the white sands of the Baha Mar resort in the Bahamas!

Now, the word luxurious doesn’t really do the place justice. The Baha Mar is something else. In their own words, they are “Tailored to be the perfect blend of bliss and play, chill and thrill, nature and nourish.” And they’re not kidding. The Baha Mar is designed solely to give visitors a spectacular experience, with a choice of three celebrated hotels, a tantalising collection of luxury lounges, bars and restaurants, a Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course, an ESPA spa, indulgent shopping facilities, and, of course, most importantly of all, an absolutely stunning ocean view casino.

So, when does the spectacular third edition of the Caribbean Poker Party get under way? There’s only eight months or so to wait, with the action kicking off on the 9th of November and finishing on the 18th. The schedule is coming soon, but you can be sure to expect all of the unbelievable guarantees, jaw-dropping super high rollers and 24/7 cash games that come as standard on the partypoker LIVE MILLIONS tour. Oh, and a $10,000,000 Guaranteed MILLIONS Main Event, of course.

There will also be, as always, an array of brilliant off the felt activities to make sure every moment of the Caribbean Poker Party is an unforgettable holiday as well as a top poker festival. Normally, there are pool parties galore, golf days, nightclub visits, luxury catamaran cruises, and more cocktails than you could ever wish for, and it’ll be no different this time around at the Baha Mar resort.

The Baha Mar Casino itself is a terrific place to play poker, with floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook the sparkling sea by day, and dazzling fire and light displays by night, which make playing at The Baha Mar Casino a spectacle like no other. The casino is designed so that every level of player, from casual players to the most super of super high rollers, can enjoy the wonderful surroundings, whilst their every need is catered to. As the Baha Mar website puts it: “It is the Caribbean’s largest, most glamorous casino—perfectly combining high energy and sublime luxury.” Doesn’t sound too shabby!

There are a number of activities at the resort that you simply will not want to miss out on when you’re enjoying yourself out in the Bahamas in November. They include getting a Shell Massage at the ESPA, which involves “skilled therapists using a powerful combination of essential aromatherapy oils and gently heated Tiger Clam shells to release deep-seated knots with trigger-point techniques.” Sounds incredible, no? The therapists will then perform a “deeply relaxing scalp massage using cool rose quartz crystals to revitalize both your mind and body.” Wow. Basically, the Shell Massage seems like the cure for all stress and tension- perfect for sweeping any bad beat blues away!

Another indulgence to not miss out on at the Baha Mar will be a visit to the Blue Note, the brilliant live jazz club at the resort. There’s no other feeling quite like sipping on some of the very finest craft cocktails – classics like the negroni or caipirinha, or even the Baha Mar’s new take on the Bahamian classic Sky Juice, the Cloud 9 – while you simply sit back and listen as the smoothest of smooth jazz washes over you, soothing your mind, body and soul. Try it. You won’t be disappointed.

So there you have it. The only place for poker players to be this November 9th-18th is the Baha Mar resort in the Bahamas. With a venue this magnificent, and the poker sure to be as awe-inspiring as ever, there’s only one thing left to say: we’ll see you in the Bahamas.

The partypoker LIVE 2018 Caribbean Poker Party kicks off at Baha Mar in The Bahamas on Nov. 9 and runs all the way through Nov. 17 with more than $22 million in guaranteed prize pools to play for across the series.

It is the massive $10 million guaranteed MILLIONS World that gets the 2018 Caribbean Poker Party under way. This $25,500 high roller event is sure to attract some of the biggest names in poker. Last year’s festival featured a $25,500 buy-in event, although this only had a $1 million guaranteed prize pool instead of a whopping $10 million.

Chris Hunichen was crowned that tournament’s champion after defeating 42 opponents. Hunichen banked $400,000 for the victory.

MILLIONS World requires 400 entries for the ambitious $10 million guarantee to be hit, so it is no surprise there are at least seven $5,200 buy-in satellites taking place from Nov. 9-11, with a total of 55 seats guaranteed.

Players can re-enter on each of the two starting flights and also have the option to buy in before play resumes on Day 2. Whether the $10 million guarantee is hit remains to be seen, but it should be a fantastic spectacle for the poker community to watch whether in The Bahamas or from affair.

The other $10 million guaranteed tournament on the schedule is the $5,300 buy-in Main Event. Last year’s event featured a $5 million guarantee and was won by Sam Greenwood, who returned to Canada armed with $1 million. The Main will need to attract twice as many entrants as it did in 2017 for the $10 million guarantee to be reached.

Like the MILLIONS World event, the Main Event has several live satellites feeding into it from Nov. 10-14. These satellites cost $550 or $1,100 to enter and have a combined 250 guaranteed seats. Again, players can re-enter on any Main Event starting flight and late registration is open until the start of Day 2.

There are some mouth-watering tournaments scheduled to complement the MILLIONS World and Main Event. These include a $1,100 buy-in Finale with its $1 million guarantee, a $1,100 Pot-Limit Omaha event with $100,000 guaranteed, a handful of $275 side events, a $1,650 H.O.R.S.E event for the mixed game lovers and the massive $250,000 buy-in Super High Roller Championships that has a 42-player cap. Have a look at the full series schedule below.
